Waterproof watch inspection and quality control testing in China
The waterproof watch is designed to assist consumers with time telling, heart rate, gps, weather or depths of water for water sports, exercise, recreational activities and in some cases even a career.
In China, because raw materials are very cheap, the quality of some the waterproof watches can be far from superior. Performing a waterproof watch inspection earlier in the manufacturing process will expose if the design has any potential problems areas, leaks and defects in the design.
Waterproof watches must be tested at the following stages to eliminate faulty watches leaving the manufacturer:
- Raw Material Inspections
- Pre-Production Inspections
- During Production Inspections
- Post-Production Inspections
- Pre-shipment Inspections
After a watch waterproof watch has been manufactured it is inspected to ensure that the watch provides time-keeping accuracy. The watch will also under-go a drop-test. The waterproof watch must continue to operate properly. The water resistance to water depth and pressure inspection test will also be performed. This will assure that the watch can handle specific depths and ensures the product is completely waterproof.
To ensure that a watch is waterproof, normally an o-ring gasket will be installed to prevent moisture from entering the watch or any of its smaller components. This o-ring must be inspected to ensure it does not contain any cracks, tears or holes in the material.
When making the decision to export waterproof watches from China, a comprehensive quality control inspection must be performed pre-shipment to verify that the containers or cases of waterproof watches contain the proper shipment, exact packing details and conforms to International Standards. Following through with the proper inspections will ensure you are delivering quality to your consumers.
